TUDOR Congratulates the 2023 World Surf League Champions!
The champs received a TUDOR to mark their victory.
Earlier this month on the sunny shores of San Clemente, California the third-annual Rip Curl World Surf League Finals took place. As the official timekeeper of the World Surf League, TUDOR was there to keep everyone on time. The stage was set with nearly perfect conditions as the sea saw four-to-six foot swells.
At the end of the day, two champions emerged. Caroline Marks from Florida was crowned the 2023 Rip Curl WSL Finals Women's champ. The 21 year old entered the competition as the Number 3 seed, but rose to prominence with a stellar performance. Meanwhile, the Brazilian Filipe Toledo took home the 2023 Rip Curl WSL Finals Men’s championship for a second year in a row. He’s the first Brazilian to earn back-to-back world champion titles.
As an acknowledgement of their truly daring spirit, TUDOR presented a Pelagos to Toledo and a Pelagos 39 to Marks. Both watches feature a personalized case back engraving that serve as a testament to their accomplishment. TUDOR is proud to support the men and women of the World Surf league as official timing partner.
