Tudor Pro Cycling Team Shows Us What it Means to be Daring

Crashes and road rashes can't keep the team down.

The Dutchman Arvid De Kleijn takes the Born to Dare philosophy seriously. This past weekend at the Grand Prix d’Isbergues he emerged victorious after a disastrous crash that sent three of his fellow TUDOR Pro Cycling Team riders to the hospital.

The race certainly didn’t go according to plan, but that’s when being daring counts. After the crash, Arvid decided to go for it instead of sitting it out, saying "We were able to come back thanks to a great team effort but then I only had Rick (Pluimers) and Maikel (Zaijlaard) for the sprint. They did a remarkable job once again. In the sprint, Maikel was leading for a long time, and I even thought at some point that he could make it to the finish, but I ended up taking the win. It is amazing. I was in a lot of pain because of the crash. It was hard but with guys like these, it is so nice to give it all and finish it off. I hope I can recover quickly and be ok for the next race on Friday at the Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen.”

It took the valiant effort of the team to get Arvid over the line as he was battered, bruised, and bleeding; TUDOR calls that being Born to Dare.
