Spain’s first-ever TUDOR boutique is located in Barcelona’s famed Paseo de Gracia, a stone’s throw from Gaudi’s famous Casa Battló. The area is known for it’s rich history with the watch and jewelry trade. The 80-square-meter boutique reflects TUDOR’s most modern expression of the Born to Dare ethos; inside there’s an exhibition space featuring mementos from the brands array of daring partnerships, not to mention a bar to facilitate a casual vibe for fans of the brands to connect with the products and enter the world of TUDOR. There’s even a cycling simulator to get a taste of what the Tudor Pro Cycling team experiences as they train.

Brand ambassador David Beckham stopped by the boutique at its opening. But he didn’t stop there. He took the opportunity to immerse himself in the world of Alinghi Red Bull Racing, which also called Barcelona home.

The team’s next-gen AC75 hydrofoil yacht, which was unveiled just over a month ago, is among the most technologically advanced vessels ever built, and inspired the TUDOR Pelagos FXD “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition” series of watches, a model range prominently showcased at the TUDOR boutique in Barcelona, that mirrors the high-tech materials and striking design of the Swiss boat.

As they prepare for the upcoming regatta starting this August, Beckham’s presence was an inspiration for the entire team. “Having David Beckham visit our base was an incredible experience for everybody,” commented skipper Arnaud Psarofaghis. “He was really interested in our campaign, and it was inspiring to share our journey with someone who knows what it takes to succeed at the top level. The day was a real reminder of our shared drive with TUDOR towards cutting-edge design and innovation.”
