Over the next year, you’ll see a number of TUDOR Pro Cycling Team riders wearing their national colors on the course.

Every year, the National Road Cycling Championships determine the top riders in each country. The championship events include a road race and a time trial event for Elite Riders, women’s, and under-23 riders. The winners of these events are entitled to wear a “champion’s jersey” featuring the colors of their nation throughout the season, a distinction that’s highly regarded in the world of UCI road cycling.

This past weekend, no less than four team members from the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team emerged victorious in their National Road Cycling Championship events, earning them the privilege to wear a special TUDOR Pro Cycling Team jersey featuring their nation’s colors.

Look out for the German and Swedish colors in the Elite races, worn Marco Brenner (DE) and Jacob Eriksson (SE). Brenner fought his way to victory after duking it out with four other riders in a five-man breakaway halfway through the race before riding solo for the last 7km of the race on the final climb. This is his first Elite National title, but not his first title—he won both the 2019 and 2020 Junior titles in Germany.

Meanwhile, in Sweden, Jacob Eriksson nabbed his first professional win and first Elite National title after sprinting away from the 4-man breakaway. Jacob is the younger of the two Eriksson brothers, with his brother Lucas holding a total of 4 titles.

And those weren’t the only wins for TUDOR Pro Cycling—Arthur Kluckers nabbed the Elite National Time Trial title in his home country of Luxemburg, and in the U23 category, rising Swiss star Fabian Weiss secured his champion title for the time trial event for the third year in a row.

Fabian Cancellara is proud of his riders, underscoring how much of an honor it is for these TUDOR Pro Cycling Team riders to wear their nation’s colors, saying “a national championships road race is always tricky and winning it is very special. Marco showed a daring and strong performance with a solo attack 7 km away from the finish thwarting the plans of better-represented teams. On his side, Jacob managed to cope with the pressure on his shoulders to keep the Swedish jersey in his family and in the team. When it comes to the TT, the clock doesn’t lie: the strongest wins. Arthur and Fabian’s wins are deserved. Wearing the colors of your own country for a year means a lot to a rider and I am very happy that these four riders get to experience this. I really look forward to seeing them racing in these beautiful jerseys.”

And some of the riders even wore their team-issued Pelagos FXD Chrono “Cycling Edition” while racing to boot!
