Dutchman Arvid de Kleijn outsprinted Fernando Gaviria and Casper van Uden at Orbassano in the fastest edition ever of the world’s oldest classic. In doing so brought home THE first pro win for the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team at the Milano Torino race. This first victory is a beautiful show of the Born To Dare team spirit of the TUDOR Pro Cycling team.

Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the winner of the 104th Milano-Torino presented by Crédit Agricole Arvid De Kleijn said:

"I feel great. The team did an amazing job for me. I was confident this morning because of the environment I'm in now. Once I was put in a good position I knew I was going to win. With the lead out I got I managed to beat some top sprinters. It's great".

STATISTICS

1.With 48.194 km/h Arvid De Kleijn set the highest average speed in the history of Milano-Torino presented by Crédit Agricole. The previous record was held by Enrico Paolini, who recorded 47.351 km/h in 1976.

2. Like Fabio Jakobsen on stage 1 of Tirreno-Adriatico, De Kleijn wins for the first time in Italy as a professional rider.

3. This is the first pro victory of the TUDOR PRO Cycling team led by Fabian Cancellara and newly promoted in the Pro Continental ranks.
